[edit] Re: Elton John

Thanks! I was amazed that there was so much information out there about those two topics. I'm afraid that I'd rather perform major work (such as aiming to help elevate an article to featured quality) on articles about topics in which I have a significant interest, and while I like many of John's songs, I'm not a fan of his. (Too much of my time on Wikipedia is spent maintaining articles and keeping them from declining in quality rather than expanding and improving others, but that's another story...) I hope you understand, and I'll try to take a look at the article sometime. Extraordinary Machine 18:57, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Real tennis

Hi there, just a quick note to point out WP:RM. If a move to an different article name has the possibility to not be universally agreed to, then use this rather than just moving the article. The article is now back at the original place. Thanks/wangi 01:24, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:RachelZevita.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:RachelZevita.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] License tagging for Image:GeorgeNassar.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:GeorgeNassar.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:05, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rickey Smith

You have recently recreated or reposted material at Rickey Smith which previously was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not recreate this article without prior approval from an administrator or you may be blocked from editing. We ask that you respect what Wikipedia is not. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may seek an independent deletion review. Coredesat 07:37, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tampering with AFD

You recently added to a closed AFD discussion. This is not allowed. You further changed the administrator's closing comment to be keep rather than delete. Aside from being a violation of policy to change other's signed comments, by placing your edits in front of an administrator's signature you are in effect impersonating them. You are also directly tampering with the administrative process of the project. You clearly knew that it was wrong to do so and ignored the highly visible warning not to edit the closed discussion.

I am going to redelete the article as it was deleted through process and shouldn't have been recreated. If you wish to dispute its deletion, please take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Do not recreate this article until it has gone through deletion review or something materially changes regarding the notability of the article's subject.—WAvegetarian (talk) 15:51, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
