Talk:BluOnyx

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am currently working to update this site. I would appreciate it not being deleted in the mean time.

That's cool. But before you invest too much time on it, it would be wise to carefully read Wikipedia's notability requirements, because if the product isn't notable by those requirements, the article will end up deleted no matter how well-written the page is. -18:09, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

How do I show the nobility of the product? I can produce dozens of published articles. The product is new so you may not have heard of it but it is expected to be a big seller with iPod users.

Yes, citing two or three of those articles (with links if they're available online), especially those in large or significant newspapers or magazines, would do a lot to establish notability. -FisherQueen 20:09, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the advice FisherQueen. I have added some published article links. Rdaley72 21:59, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

I've removed the tags as notability seems to be pretty well established. This article could use a bit of clean-up to make it more encyclopedic in tone and a bit less promotional, but it's OK. Well done on the use of hangon tag and talk page discussion about notability. This is exactly how it's supposed to work.--Kchase T 23:06, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
