Western Blue-eyed Grass, Sisyrhincium bellum.

Photographed 4th April 2004 in the Sunol Regional Wilderness, California, by Stephen Lea.

Species ID on the basis that this is the only blue-flowering species of Sisyrhincium likely to be encountered in coastal northern California.
