Blue Valley Middle School is one of eight currently operated Middle Schools in the Blue Valley School District. The principal is Dr.Rogers and assistant principal is Kerri Evans. It is fed in by Blue River Elementary School and Stilwell Elementary School. It feeds into Blue Valley High School.

Blue Valley Middle School was constructed in 1976 as the first middle school in the Blue Valley School District. A new BVMS building was constructed in 1998. Currently, BVMS will serves approximately 590 students.
