Blue Max (Star Wars)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blue Max is a fictional character from the Star Wars Novels

Blue Max was a droid who began life as an Imperial MerenData B2-X computer probe and was temporarily owned by a Bounty Hunter who unwittingly used it as payment during a transaction with the outlawed tech Doc.

Being of Imperial design, the B2-X had an abrupt and fierce personality and so Doc had his outlaw techs correct this flaw and "Blue Max" was born. Blue Max was installed into the chest cavity of the droid Bollux since the little computer interface did not have its own means of locomotion. In the years that followed, Bollux and Blue Max formed a strong bond with each other and became inseparable counterparts as well as Bollux being a well-seasoned mentor to the relatively youthful Blue Max.

Later, Blue Max became vital in a rescue operation mounted by Han Solo to rescue a number of prisoners being held captive by the CSA in Star's End Prison. This action earned both Bollux and Blue Max freedom from the outlaw techs and the two droids agreed to work for Han Solo for a limited period in exchange for transport.

[edit] Physical Description

Blue Max is 0.4 meters in height. He is cube shaped with no appendages. He has a single red photoreceptor that can scan and interpret through a speech synthesizer and his systems allow him to easily slice through most CSA computer systems.

The Current whereabouts of Blue Max is unknown.
