Who keeps erasing these pictures? Its not rocket science here people, I added a few arrows to the original pictures and made the text more clear. Whoever is trolling this site and repeatedly deleting things please stop.
"The term "blowoff valve" is commonly used in the discussion of turbocharged vehicles. Contents"
is this the best we can do for OP?
- Well, I tried improving it. Please try your own hand at it if you feel so inclined, you're probably more of an expert than I am. I only have this article on my watchlist because I was trying to help the new user who created those two illustrations get their copyright tagging done properly, and know almost nothing about cars. --tjstrf talk 08:03, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
The bypass or blow-off valves are not ALWAYS after the throttle body, for instance, in 94-98 SAAB 900 turbos(and 99-02 non viggen 9-3s) it is after the intercooler but before the throttle body.
[edit] Grammar problem
Can anyone figure out what exactly the line "BOV's are illegal in most countries now, your car will get defected for it" is trying to express? 68.184.150.249 02:53, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
