Talk:Blook

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I edited the line "An Instance of Shining Light by A. Zlengy and Madie's Bear Tribe Journals by Marsha Loftis are self-described as blooks."by adding A. Zlengy. It looked as if I had written both blooks.

The original article credited me with inventing blooks. I have helped popularize them but other blooks already existed by the time I wrote mine so I corrected this.

Also added citations to other blooks I know about and removed the stub designation from the article since it is pretty complete as of now.

I added examples of another definition of blook - a printed book derived from material previously posted on a blog including the first use of the term by Jeff Jarvis and Tony Pierce in 2002. Also added information about the LuLu Blooker prize. The edit appears anonymous (sorry) because I forgot to sign in before making it.

what about http://www.aardvark.at/messages/ ? "Messages from the Lost Continent is a unique and at times hilariously funny blend of thriller, science fiction and fantasy novel, which was originally published in 2005 as a fiction weblog." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.158.112.129 (talk) 23:22, 6 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] usage

I question the general usage of this term. I would appreciate references that any of the examples above have been generally described by this name. DGG 01:53, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] the latest content

read a little like an ad, so I shortened it. I strongly suggest the editor who added it try to find at least one more example of such products, or both this mention and the accompanying article are rather likely to be deleted. DGG 00:41, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] earlier blook

Hi, I editted the wikipedia entry to add the book of maroc.nl. I think books made purely of collections from forum discussions also fit the "blook" definition. The Maroc.NL book was published in Holland (The Netherlands) in the fall of 2001 under ISBN: 90-254-1603-9.
