Talk:Blogcast
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Blogcast now seems to be the name of a small video. Typically an interview. Check out http://del.icio.us/tag/blogcast for examples. I believe that this is different to podcasts, which are audio only. -- BernFarr
- I thought small videos were generally videocasts... I guess these is one of those things that, with time, will come to have an accepted meaning among the majority of users. Iancaddy 21:03, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
While I find it important and interesting that this article posts on the use of RSS not simply as a subscription mechanism but also it's importance to making audio and video searchable (something very often overlooked) it is a less than significant term with absolutely no consensus.. and people have been using shownotes and rss to make audio and video podcasts searchable WAY before early 2006. I recommend making the key points about RSS's utility for search on the RSS and/or syndication articles and deleting this article. --mmeiser 20:34, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
