Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud is a 2007 made for television sequel in the Pumpkinhead franchise of horror films. The film is written and directed by Michael Hurst (House of The Dead 2). It directly follows 2006's Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes. The name of the movie was recently changed to "Blood Feud" from "Love Hurts".
Initially announced as Pumpkinhead 4, it was filmed in Bucharest, Romania back-to-back with another sequel titled Pumpkinhead 3. Since the initial announcement, the films have been renamed Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud and Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes, respectively.
The plot of the movie follows that of "Romeo and Juliet", and the feud of the Hatfields and McCoys. In "Blood Feud", "Romeo" summons the demon Pumpkinhead after the death of his sister to wreak revenge on the "Capulets" of the story.
The film continues to effectively ignore the events portrayed in the Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings sequel, with Lance Henriksen returning as the ghost of Ed Harley, his character from the first film.
Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud is scheduled to air on SCI FI on February 10th.
