Blounts Creek is a small rural town in Beaufort County, North Carolina near a creek with the same name. The Boy Scouts have the Bonner Scout Reservation in the area.

Blounts Creek has a population of 1505 people. Its population is 54.0% female and 46% male with a median age of 37.1. The median household income is $38,960 with an average per capita income of $14,770. Blounts Creek is a relatively peaceful area with a violent crime index of 2 as compared with the US national average of 3.

Blounts Creek was settled in 18th century with many Scottish highlanders settling in the district. The area saw fighting during the US Civil War as part of the Washington Front in 1862 and 1863.
