For school I'm searching for the detailed process in which pop rivets are mass manufactured, how it is automated and how the mandrel breakpoint force is ensured. On wikipedia it says rivets are manufactured from 1 of 3 methods: wire, tube or sheet. If someone could please include a detailed explanation of each of these methods with pictures it would be greatly appreciated.
