(Description from en) This shot was taken in the Antarctic by the photographer Frank Hurley. It details the expedition leader, Douglas Mawson in blizzard conditions during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition of 1911-1914. This legendary expedition is recounted in Mawson's book, "Home of the Blizzard - A True Story of Antarctic Survival".
