Blitz 5Days is the seventh major tour by Japanese rock band Dir en grey. It was played in only five days in one week.

The Blitz 5Days shows were all played in Akasaka Blitz in the week between June and July. The songs played highlighted the entire career of Dir en grey up to the album Vulgar. The two EPs were spread throughout the dates, while the main albums had dates dedicated to them.

[edit] Day One

Day one was the only show not to have a theme of an entire album. The set list for the night encompasses most of Dir en grey's career up to their unreleased album at the time. The first night marked the only night to open with their signature opening, "G.D.S.". The show contained three pauses at which Kyo spoke to the audience (referenced to as "MCs"), and there were two encores at the end of the night.

Day two was dedicated to the album Gauze, and opened with the first track, "Gauze-Mode of Adam-". New, unreleased songs were showcased, and there were a total of two MCs and two encores.

Day three featured songs from the second full-length album, Macabre, and new songs. The set opened with Deity, contained three MCs, and two encores.

Day four gave songs from their third full-length album , kisou. They played several songs from the upcoming release, and there were a total of three MCs and two encores.

Day five revealed many new songs from the still unreleased Vulgar. This was the first live performance of many songs from Vulgar, including New Age Culture and Obscure. There were total of three MCs and two encores. The final song of the tour was Rasetsukoku.

Blitz 5Days was filmed, and select songs from each night were featured in a box set. Each night was set to one disc, near one hour in length. The DVD set was released only to the fan club, [a knot]. It was released in late 2003, and is again available for purchase exclusively through [a knot].
