[edit] Deleted page "Douglas de Oliveira"

A page you created, or image you uploaded, Douglas de Oliveira, has been deleted in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets the one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:

No content whatsoever. Any article consisting only of links elsewhere (including hyperlinks, category tags and "see also" sections), a rephrasing of the title, and/or attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable notability guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content; it will be deleted again and may be protected from re-creation. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article. If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. [edit] Player names

Please, keep in mind that articles names, whenever is possible, are supposed to be short. And full names are supposed to be informed within the article. There's no point in renaming "Leonardo Moura" to his full name as we don't have another Leonardo Moura. Just as there's no point in renaming "Juninho Paulista" to his full name, as we don't have another Juninho Paulista. You've renamed "José Antônio da Silva Júnior" to a larger name: "José Antonio de Miranda da Silva Junior". What for? What's the point? There's no other "José Antônio da Silva Júnior". Your moves only are only making article names larger. Reasonability is the key word in here.
Also, please, when editing articles do not replace existing links by dead ones. It's preferable not event insert dead links in articles. Thank you. —Lesfer (t/c/@) 15:25, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Player names again

Have you simply decided to ignore all the above? —Lesfer (t/c/@) 22:30, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Brazilian footballers

Can you add the Category:Brazilian footballers to all the Brazilian footballers articles you create (and to the ones you have already created)? Regards, --Carioca 00:57, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
