Bletchingdon is a village and civil parish in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 872. The village is a couple of miles north of Kidlington. With excellent Bed and Breakfast Accommodation and Restaurant in The Blacks Head Inn. The village has a silver band, who in 2005 qualified for the National Brass Band Championships in Harrogate.

The village is also known as Bletchington, and is more commonly referred to as such in official references such as BT's telephone exchange database.

It is famous as the one time home of Sir Christopher Wren who came to live in the rectory. However the village was known as Bletchingham during this time.
