[edit] Welcome from Redwolf24
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.
Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.
Redwolf24 (Talk) 09:55, 20 August 2005 (UTC) The current time and date is 09:48, 8 April 2007 (UTC).
P.S. I like messages :-P
Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Carbonite | Talk 13:29, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] DYK
Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article agricultural experiment station, which you recently created, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page. |
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Adamdeadmarsh.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Adamdeadmarsh.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Cuban Moroccan Hombres?
Who are these 'Cuban-Moroccan Hombres'? Do they have any connection with spoons? I'm confused. Psychade 11:07, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Who the hell do you think you are??! Questioning my tastes, as you do! You should know, you're one of them too! Begone with ye! Black-Velvet 22:50, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Why is there a lot of invisible text on your talk page, Mr Velvet? What are you trying to hide? ;) Psychade 12:33, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Heh heh, my past life Psycadiac, at least I have text to hide ;). Black-Velvet 12:35, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
But the text is naughty. I believe that all information should be accessable to the public, so I'm un-thingying it. :) Psychade 12:57, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
What can I say, I'm an extremely naughty yiff. ;) Black-Velvet 12:59, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Yes you are. Psychade 13:01, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Hah! I still haven't forgotten that you knew what that meant when Pierce didn't. ;) Black-Velvet 13:04, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Who is Pierce (Pearce)? Remember, we don't have lives outside of Wikipedia; we don't know each other. Apparently. Eventually someone will delete all of this because it's silly. Psychade 13:06, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Don't worry, I'll archive it sooner or later. ;) Black-Velvet 13:07, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
