Information for this article is based on comics I once owned before being forced to sell them.

I am wondering whether I should bother with wikipedia since it seems to be the wrong market. Clearly no one among the "staff" has the first clue about collecting comics and has never done so. Comic collectors prize information and check lists. They want to know what they still need and information about those issues. You are not going to get the man in the street who has never read a comic come along and suddenly start looking in wikipedia for articles on comic characters. That is not going to happen. The collectors mostly already know what is going on with any title they collect. I read the Superman article in wikipedia and it could have been written by pretty much any kid who turns up at a comic convention. It seems to me that that is what you want. Some fluff that looks nice. I think you people have pretensions that you are somehow better than the Encyclopedia Brittanica and are more interested in appearance than content and the thought of having to clean up an article absolutely horrifies you.Neufen01 11:16, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

I have had more thopughts. You are right. My articles do not belong in wikipedia so I'm saving you the trouble of waiting. Why should I slave away for people who don't give a damn.Neufen01 11:18, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
