[edit] Rogue Warrior: Black Razor
Rogue Warrior: Black Razor is a videogame developed by Zombie Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks using the Unreal 3 engine. The game is based off the series of novels by Richard Marcinko, also known as The Rogue Warrior. The game begins as Marcinko and his team are inserted deep into North Korea for a reconnaissance mission. They are tasked to determine North Korean nuclear launch capability. Things go awry when North Korea attacks South Korea, and the team is abandoned to fend for themselves deep behind enemy lines. The player controls Marcinko as he and his team as they move from behind enemy lines to the front lines, destroying as much of the North Korean war machine as they can along the way.
[edit] Single-Player
The developers of Rogue Warrior: Black Razor have stated that their intention with single-player maps is to make them as accessible as possible to all completion methods. The player is supposed to be able to play however they want; they can sneak around guard patrols, tactically command their teammates to execute tasks, plant booby traps and draw in enemies, or simply run around and shoot everything.
[edit] Multiplayer
A multiplayer map consists of three tiles. Before the match, each team votes on the tile they start on, and the middle tile is randomly chosen. This formula results in a map that is unpredictable, and should decrease "map fatigue" (where players simply memorize a map and rush to certain spots over and over). The developers of the game have dubbed this system ZTS (Zombie Tile System).
During the single-player campaign, other players can seamlessly join in as one of your teammates to help you complete the campaign. Other players can also drop out of the game at any time, and the AI will take over without missing a beat.
