Blake Schwendiman

Blake Schwendiman (born May 23, 1970) is the author of several PHP software development books and of the fiction and humor short story blook Blake Schwendiman's Blog and Blook.

He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 1994. His background in computer software development includes developing software for Unix, Linux and Microsoft Windows in the languages C++, Delphi and PHP. He began technical writing in 1999 and has published three PHP books since then. His fiction and humorous writings are available at Blake Schwendiman's Blog and Blook.

Blake grew up in Rexburg, Idaho and graduated from Madison High School in 1988. He currently lives in Mesa, Arizona.

Blake is also the creator of the web site, HopeToAdopt.com which is an adoption resource primarily serving adoptive families. Both of Blake's children are adopted.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent two years performing church service in Cape Town, South Africa.

Blake has written several short humor stories (available at his blog) and has published one short story via Amazon.com's shorts program. The story, Semper Nunc is a scifi/fantasy story along the lines of X-Men. Semper Nunc is currently available only at [Amazon.com].
