Blaenllechau

Blaenllechau is a small town located in the Rhondda Fach valley of the South Wales Valleys. Neighbouring villages are Ferndale, Maerdy and Tylorstown.

The population of Blaenllechau is about 1000.

The town was founded as a colliery village in the 1840s.

Blaenllechau is well-known for its waterfall.
