Blackville-Hilda High School

Blackville-Hilda High School (BHHS) is a public four-year high school located in Blackville. It is a part of the Barnwell School District #19 (also known as the Blackville-Hilda Public Schools. In 2005, BHHS had an enrollment of 315 students.
BHHS is known for being the high school alma mater of New England Patriots player Troy Brown.[1]
The high school is also, unfortunately, known for a deadly school shooting that took place in 1995 in which a suspended student shot two teachers, killing one, and then fatally shot himself.[2]
In 2005, the BHHS football team, the "Fighting Hawks", won the Class A State Championship.[3]
