[edit] History
One of the most well received songs from the new album (and first performed on Michael Parkinson's popular UK late-night talk show), Black Widow's Eyes is a song dealing with Stockholm Syndrome. Said Pete Townshend: "This song is about the man holding a child in the Beslan massacre who described the female terrorist who blew herself up, killing the child he held, as ‘having the most penetrating and beautiful eyes". Roger Daltrey was quoted as saying this was one of his favorite tracks on the new album. It is also the only song that touring member Zak Starkey plays on.
