Black Eagle (uprising)

Black Eagle (Russian: Чёрный Орёл) was an anti-Soviet peasant uprising in Bashkiria, in several uyezds of Ufa Guberniya of Soviet Russia (February 7 - March 18, 1920).

The uprising was was a protest against the Soviet politics of the period of War Communism with respect to peasantry, in particular the politics of prodrazvyorstka: requisition of food supplies.
