[edit] Synopsis

The episode starts in the Forman kitchen with Jackie complaining to Hyde about his beard, saying it is like making out with carpet. She tries to convince him that beards are not in style and wants him to shave it off. Kelso still can't get over Jackie, who is now going out with Hyde. Kitty enters the kitchen and tells Jackie something bad has come up and Red can take her home. She then explains that Jackie's dad was arrested for bribery.

Later in the basement, Kelso is cleaning his BB gun that he found in the backyard while digging for dinosaurs. Jackie comes in and is upset because she now knows what her dad did. She goes running to Hyde, but he doesn't know what to say. Fez and Kelso go over to the DMV to meet Nina, whom Fez is trying to get to know better. At the Formans, Hyde talks to Kitty, Donna and Eric about his problem with Jackie. Donna and Eric seem to have different points of view about Hyde and Jackie's relationship. Back at the DMV, Fez is working with Nina on a fingerprint record. Fez is dumbfounded in love with Nina and they start to kiss, but Nina stops after they go any further. She then walks out with Fez's ink hand prints on her butt. Now in the basement, Hyde and Kelso start arguing again about Jackie. Kelso is playing with the BB gun while arguing, and the gun goes off and shoots Hyde. Hyde made it look like he was shot in the eye, but the BB barely hit him in his arm. So he decides to play it out to Kelso that he was actually shot in the eye and he couldn't see. Kelso comes over later with a burger and offers it to Hyde because he actually feels bad for him.

Donna and Eric take their different points of view to Red and Kitty, who have the same thing to say, the exact opposite views of each other, "showering them with gifts or giving them space". Kelso comes down to the basement again and gives Hyde a free shot with the BB gun. Hyde accepts then reveals that he's not hurt before shooting Kelso in the butt. Jackie comes in later to talk about her dad and her relationship with Hyde. She is at a loss and says her world is falling apart. Hyde walks in and is clean shaven, which cheers up Jackie right away. Donna and Eric resolve their points of view with no trouble. Fez walks in and declares that the has a problem, that "the little man in his pants has turned black", probably from the ink previously at the DMV. The episode concludes with the gang explaining to Fez how to get the ink out.
