Bjarne Pedersen

Bjarne Pedersen (born 12 July 1978 in Holstebro, Denmark) is a Danish motorcycle speedway rider who most recently took part in the 2006 Speedway Grand Prix season.

Pedersen began his speedway career in 1990. He won his first title in 1994 winning the Danish Pairs Championship with Charlie Gjedde, however he did not ride as a full-time professional until 2000. He took part in his first Speedway Grand Prix in 2002 in a season when he took part in 2 events, both as a wild card.
His first full SGP season came in 2003, however it was not until 2004 when Bjarne won his first and (as at January, 30 2007) only SGP win at the European GP in Wrocław. In 2004, he also won the British Elite League riders championship.
