BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is a regional chain that was created in 1978, by converting 5 restaurants purchased from the Pietro Corporation. There are currently 58 restaurants located in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, Florida, and Oregon. 10 of these restaurants contain breweries. There are 10 more restaurants expected to be opened during 2007. BJ's Headquarters are in Huntington Beach, California.

Pizookie (from pizza cookie) is a dessert introduced and served by BJ's Brewhouse. The dish can consist of various flavors of cookie doughs baked in deep-dish pizza pans, then topped with vanilla bean ice cream, and served hot.
