Bite Me, Fanboy is a 2005 movie by filmmaker Mat Nastos. It is a comedic look at the culture of comic book fandom.
Originally shot in 2001 on a microbudget, the film became known through screenings at comic book conventions. The film's cast and crew was made up of various comic book professionals, including Shon Bury, Landry Walker and Mat Nastos.

- All of the comic fan characters have double consonant names: Nick Norton, Jared James, Ray Reed, Tony Taira, Chris Cole, reminiscent of several alliterative character names in Superman comics.
- The theme song for Bite Me, Fanboy was written and performed by OOKLA THE MOK, a fan-favorite band, specifically for the movie.
- Like the title character, writer/director Mat Nastos has an obsession with Green Lantern. The power battery sequence is supposedly taken from the director's personal experience.
- The film features a number of references to Elfquest, including one full scene devoted to its fanbase. Writer/director Mat Nastos drew for the comic back in the mid 1990s.
- There is an entire scene devoted to the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comic series in the movie.
