[edit] NPOV
This article has neutrality problems. Opinion is stated as fact, instead of being attributed. For example, the article says that Bishoy's "incorrupt body is preserved to this day". Evidence? The article asserts that "the angel took the hand of Anba (Abba) Bishoy". Of an ascetic old man, the article asserts: "But he deviated from the true faith and the devil lead him astray. He taught that there is no Holy Spirit, and many were deceived by his sayings." There are plenty of other examples. dbenbenn | talk 22:51, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] COPYVIO
It's also largely copied from the various Coptic Church sites, although the way its cut and pasted together makes it difficult to justify totally blanking it. A much better article on a similar/related bio is Macarius of Egypt and I left a message with the main author of that page asking if he could take a crack at Bishoy. Anyway Macarius would provide a useful model for this page. FRS 22:36, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Can this be changed?
when u search this article on google it come up with this "Bishoy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaLater on, around 340 AD, St. Bishoy went to the wilderness of Shiheet ... He taught that there is no Holy Spirit, and many were deceived by his sayings. ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bishoy - 19k - Cached - Similar pages " the information can be misleading to making people think that anba bishoy taught these wrong things. is there a way this can be changed so people dont get mislead. As the story says he rebuked a monk for teaching these things.
