Talk:Bishop (artillery)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Considering that the title has (artillery) in it, I hardly think anyone would get this confused with another reference to the word/name Bishop or look it up while trying to find something else. Best to leave the disambiguation notice on Bishop only. Oberiko 12:25, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)

- Anyone got a credible source on where that designation has came from, because my source says different. King nothing 13:57, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

- You mean Ordnance QF 25-pdr on Carrier Valentine 25-pdr Mk 1 ? AFAIR from Henry, Fuller - The 25-pounder Field Gun 1939-72. Bukvoed 14:13, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

I checked... the aforementioned book says the designation was 25-pounder Mk I on Carrier, Valentine, 25-pdr, Mk I. Is it what your source says ? Bukvoed 06:08, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
