[edit] Suggestions

  • the 2nd sentence "It is given .." then "martyred themselves" doesnt sound right. The 1st part suggests common practice whereas the last part refers to the past only. Could it be changed to "It has been awarded" .. then "made the ultimate sacrifice"? or something where the tenses match.
  • Also the names in the table with No, Rank etc doesnt add much value. In my view, just a plain list looks much better.
  • In Bangladesh the first names are more important than the last names. Instead of "Last Name, First Name", use of "First Name LastName" would be more appropiate

Great suggestions. Please go ahead and make them. I do think the ranks are important. I remember my school textbook articles on the Bir Shreshtos almost always used their ranks with their names. For example, "Lance Nayek Nur Mohammad" , "Sipahi Mostafa Kamal" etc. --Ragib 22:43, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Need help. Removed the table. But cant format as "1st name Last Name", if I do that the links no longer work.

Also we should add new entries for military hierarchy in bangladesh e.g. Sipahi/sepoy, lans nayek etc --ohaider
