- It's not orphaned, it's the source of Image:Birefringence.png. There's not much point uploading diagrams in raster format only; it makes it very difficult for people to cleanly edit them. I know wikimedia is meant to have SVG support directly [1] but it doesn't seem to work in this case, all I see is some icon of a drawing palette on the image page and when linked in an article I just get a text link to the file. If you think this can be fixed perhaps let me know how on my talk page otherwise I'd say keep both files until full SVG support is there.--Russell E 21:33, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Not deleted - that's just weird. I saved the svg and opened it up in firefox and it looks like the PNG you pointed out. I am going to copy this discussion to the talk page so that it will be there in case this comes up again. --BigDT 02:07, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
