Biron is a commune of the Dordogne département, in France. Population (1999): 143.

Biron lies between the Dropt and Lède rivers between the towns of Monpazier, Villereal and Villefranche-du-Périgord.

Biron is dominated by the stunning château that overlooks the village, a bastion in medieval times. Today the château is a tourist hotspot in the summer months.
