Birla House

Birla House, the palatial house of the Indian business tycoons, Birlas, located a couple of kilometres from the Connaught Place, one of the CBDs of New Delhi is now a well-known tourist attraction in the greenest area of Delhi. This is the place where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life. He was assassinated here. The museum in the building houses a number of articles associated with him, and reflects his life and death.
