[edit] Plot synopsis
The Warriors are having a break since their now Wudai Warriors, but they hear this eerie, loud and screechy noise. An old hag is singing outside, most terribly. Master Fung thinks it could be a dark omen. He asks Dojo to fetch the Book of Dark Omens. (Which was used to even out the table.) The "singing crackpot" just happens to predict the coming of the Bird of Paradise. So Master Fung sends the Warriors on their first Wudai Quest, to locate the Bird of Paradise. After Dojo gives the Warriors vault cards, Master Fung tells them they should not use Shen Gong Wu. They are only allowed to use their Wudai Powers and a leaf that points them in the direction of the Bird of Paradise. But they were secretly being bugged by Jack Spicer, who too was now going for the Bird of Paradise. But Jack Spicer was also being bugged by Chase Young. Who also was going for it as well. As the Wudai Warriors began, Omi used "leafy" to point the way, but it was pointing in the direction of the singing crackpot, who happened to fall in the stream. Then Raimundo saved her from a waterfall. Distracted, Jack Spicer steals the leaf. Raimundo despairs that it was all his fault for getting distracted, but Omi, Kimiko and Clay assured him that Raimundo did the right thing. Then Jack came across a huge canyon, leaving a chocolate wrapper behind he goes inside. Clay notices the chocolate wrapper, and they continue in the Canyon of Doom And Agony. Chase Young starts to interfere by using his Heylin Eyeball, to control the canyon which made giant rocks attack them. Omi is not fooled by his magic. Then they came across a huge tongue-like rock, once they were pinned to a dead end, they used their Wudai skills to defeat it. Then Omi starts to climb boulder rubble, but is saved by Clay, before Omi could get crushed by the rocks. Then Clay says he should handle them. As the boulders came by again, he used his new Wudai power to blow a hole in the canyon's side giving the Warriors easy passage much to Wuya's disappointment. Then after following Jack's trail of litter, they find him taken hostage by fire-breathing squirrels, Omi's fear kicks in again.
Raimundo, Kimiko and Clay are battling the fire-breathing squirrels, Omi is paralyzed with fear, and is surrounded by them, until Kimiko jumps in and carries him to safety, until Kimiko gets surrounded by squirrels herself, then Omi rescues her, and thanks her for her courage. Then Kimiko used her new fire powers to create a wall of fire to repel the squirrl's fire, and creates an inferno that chased the squirrels away. Jack then begs them to get him down. Omi and Raimundo use their new Water and Wind powers to wash away the fire from that battle, and Jack hands over the leaf. Omi sprouts water, so the leaf can tell them the way. They soon come across the Bone-Yard. Then they find a parrot, Kimiko asks if it was the Bird of Paradise, it repeats what Kimiko said, so they presumed it was the Bird of Paradise. Chase Young then appears with Wuya. And with his Heylin magic, he summons a zombie dragon. Then the old singing crackpot appears, directly in front of the dragon, which the dragon wraps it's tail around. Then the Warriors use their new team attack. Clay uses his earth powers to strike the dragon, releasing the crackpot, Raimundo catches her, and lands her with Clay. Raimundo is flying around the Bone-Yard with the dragon right on his tail. Kimiko and Omi use their Fire and Water powers to turn the dragon into ash. And Raimundo simply blows it away, literally. But it was proven vain, since Jack was now flying away with the parrot. Chase and Wuya then vanish away, leaving the Warriors behind with the crackpot. And to their astonishment, turned into a pink-elegant bird. She was the Bird of Paradise. She came to repay Raimundo's kindness by giving each of them new qualities, then flies away. Back at the Temple, Master Fung explains you should not let your eyes deceive you. (Which was a big help later on.) Then at Jack's Lair, Jack tries to interrogate the parrot, but the tables turn almost easily on Jack.
