Bird Blobs is a Captain Beefheart cover band from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in 2000, and consist of Tim Evans, Ian Wadley, and Steve Masterson. They have released two albums on Tasmanian label Unstable Ape, as well as appearing on numerous compilations. The band have toured the United States and UK, including playing the All Tomorrow's Parties music festival in December 2004.[1]
In 2006, the Bird Blobs song "Inbred Disco" was used in the soundtrack for Australian film Suburban Mayhem.
