[edit] Welcome from Ravedave
Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.
Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.
P.S - I like messages. :) -Ravedave 20:16, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Spike TV.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Spike TV.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Dangerous Ground
Please don't copy text from other websites into Wikipedia articles. This is a violation of copyright, and we can't legally accept it. For more details, see our Copyright FAQ. FreplySpang (talk) 23:22, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] CW Television Network
Whomp reverted you because you gave no source for your edit. You reverted that, but still no source. As such, I have re-reverted you. Please do not revert again without a source. --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 19:26, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- DO NOT keep adding One Tree Hill into the officially renewed section until you have proof. A reporter's blog with hearsay and rumor is not proof unless it comes from the producers or The CW. You've been warned about this before - don't make us start to consider your edits to be in bad faith and/or vandalism. TheRealFennShysa 15:15, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Using edit summaries
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.

[edit] Please Use the Preview Button
I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. Zpb52 17:39, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My Network TV and Desperate Housewives
For the second time, I've stripped the My Network TV article of references to the deal to air syndicated reruns of Desperate Housewives on local stations that just happen to be MNTV "owned and operated". The fact that you reinstated the info gives off the impression that you're unable to distinguish between programs actually provided by a broadcast television network and syndicated television programs that simply air on all or most of that network's "O&Os". Basically, saying that DH reruns will soon "be on MNTV" is like saying that Live with Regis & Kelly "is on ABC" when the truth is that Regis & Kelly is merely on many (if not all) ABC O&Os.--TwoTone 22:39, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] DVD Releases
Please don't add "DVD Releases" sections to television shows that have no announced release information. "There is a slight possibility that _____ may or may not be available on DVD" adds no real information to the article. —tregoweth (talk) 03:51, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your username
Also, you may wish to consider changing your username, as yours is technically not allowed. —tregoweth (talk) 03:56, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Little Mermaid (TV series)
Once again, please don't add "DVD Releases" sections to television shows that have no announced release information. Wikipedia is about verified information, not rumors. —Whomp [T] [C] [FREE$$$] 20:52, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sex and the City
Your edit to Sex and the City has been reverted. The quote you changed is a direct quote. Wikipedia does not censor content. Sparsefarce 21:33, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --CFIF (talk to me) 18:08, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
I apologize, I had no idea the images were deleted. --CFIF (talk to me) 18:11, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] One more warning
I'm giving you until Friday to post a request that your username be changed; then I'm blocking this one. DS 23:36, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, it's Saturday morning; you haven't posted a request for username change, so you're blocked. If you want to make that request, you'll need to first post a request to be unblocked. DS 14:34, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Sci Fi Channel (United States) programs
Ello there, Billcosby.. I'd rather like for you to give your input on the fate of List of Sci Fi Channel (United States) programs since may invariably suffer the same fate as Other films aired on The SciFi Channel, so please do so if time permits. I feel it a rather pertinant piece of information concerning the Sci Fi Channel, and its demise may compromise the article in its entirety. DrWho42 03:53, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
