It was released as a single in 2003 and can be found on the soundtrack to the Mandy Moore vehicle How to Deal as well as Sweetnam's debut album, Noise From the Basement. The video for Billy S. received regular airplay on MuchMusic and YTV. The song peaked at #14 on the Canadian charts.
This song contains a Mondegreen or commonly misheard lyric. The line in question is, "Meet Juliet or Malvolio", which has been transcribed as, "Meet Juliet or my Volio."[1] [2] [3] Malvolio is a character in Twelfth Night - a Shakespeare play which is covered in the Ontario school system that Skye attended.
