Billy Ray Smith, Sr. (January 27, 1935 - March 21, 2001) was a National Football League defensive lineman from 1957 through 1970.
During that span, Smith appeared in Super Bowl III and Super Bowl V for the Baltimore Colts. He played college football at the University of Arkansas.
He was the father of former San Diego Chargers linebacker Billy Ray Smith, Jr.
