Billy Budd (film)

Billy Budd is a film produced, directed, and co-written by Peter Ustinov. It was released in 1962 and starred Terence Stamp as Billy Budd, Robert Ryan as John Claggart, and Peter Ustinov as Captain Vere. Stamp was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

The film was based on the novel Billy Budd by Herman Melville.
