Billinudgel, New South Wales

Billinudgel is a town in northeastern New South Wales, Australia in Byron Shire. It is on the Pacific Highway, close to Byron Bay and the Queensland border. Billinudgel is bordered by a larger town called Ocean Shores. There a few small towns and villages located near Billinudgel called Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby,The Pocket and North Ocean Shores.

The name Billinudgel is derived from Bundjalung Bilihnadhihl, meaning "once belonged to a parrot".[1]
