Bill Wedekind

Bill Wedekind is a potter from the U.S. state of Kansas. He is a third-generation marine who lost both his sight and his hands, during the Vietnam War. After he returned home, his grandmother suggested he take up pottery, which he did. He works at craft fairs and sells his work in local stores, and is quite well known in Kansas. Wedekind is considered an inspirational example of a person who overcame his disablites to do something good.
