Bill Stone (caver)

Bill Stone (born 1953) is one of the world's foremost expeditionary cavers, exploring deep caves, sometimes with remotely operated vehicles. Stone's spelunking career is actually just means of validating his ideas of how to explore interplanetary space. He hopes to be involved in the first privately funded lunar colony.

Bill Stone is President and CEO of Stone Aerospace (www.stoneaerospace.com).

Currently, he is using a highly advanced AUV, DepthX, to explore the world's deepest caves. [1]
