Bill Mooneyham

Bill Mooneyham was a former major league baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics.

Bill Mooneyham was born on Tuesday, August 16, 1960, in Livermore, California. Mooneyham attended Merced Junior College. He was originally drafted in 1980 in the 1st round (10th overall). At the age of 25 he broke into the big leagues (April 19, 1986) with the Oakland Athletics. He only played for one year in the majors and was paid $60,000 that year.

While in the minor leagues he played for Salinas, Holyodke, Edmonton, Nashua, Modesto, Huntsville and Tacoma.
