Bill Lynch is a former college football head coach. He coached the Ball State Cardinals football team from 1995 until 2002. His most successful season was 1996 when the Cardinals participated in the Las Vegas Bowl.

In 2004, Lynch coached the DePauw Tigers football team to an 8-2 record.

Currently, Lynch serves as the Assistant Head Coach for the Indiana Hoosiers. He currently is the interim head coach for the spring season as head coach Terry Hoeppner will sit out due to health reasons and to rest and regain strength.
