Bill Drake (Negro League baseball)

William "Plunk" Drake was a negro league baseball player. He was born June 8, 1895. His career spanned from 1914 to the late 1920s. He even played against white competition which was very rare at the time for African Americans. He died October 30, 1977. Taught Satchel Paige his famous Hesitation Pitch.
