Bill Brew

William ‘Billy’ Brew was a rugby league player in the Australian competition the New South Wales Rugby League(NSWRL) in the years 1940 and 1941.

Brew who played for the Eastern Suburbs club replaced an injured Dave Brown, in the 1940 finals series. The centre was a try scorer and played a prominent role in the premiership deciding match that saw Easts take out its 8th title.


Brew later died of an illness while serving in the army.
