I wouldn't refer to Bijelo Dugme as Yougoslav 'The Beatles', much rather as Yugoslav 'Led Zeppelin'. Pozdrav iz Slovenije! ;)

Wikipedia recognises Bosnian language and states it is formerly known as Serbo-Croatian. The only distinction between the two is the nationality of the people speaking it. Apart from that, www.bijelodugme.net is powered by bosnabeat.com, and the Bosnabeat.com team says: ["Na nasoj stranici mozete naci sadrzaje koji su iskljucivo namjenjeni populaciji sa bosanskog govornog podrucja."] Therefore, the language of the site is Bosnian. No problem. However, I have changed it back. Bosnian IS Serbo-Croat. The quote you provide doesn't solve anything as Bosnian Serbs(on the whole) call the language Serbian, Bosnian Croats call it Croatian and Bosnian Muslims call it Bosnian. They all speak the same (Bosnian) dialect(Svi pripadaju bosanskom govornom podrucju). Serbo-Croat is the compromise solution. Personally, I don't care what Wikipedia says on his particular issue. Overnight I went from being bilingual to being 100% fluent in four languages! Kafka couldn't make it up... BTW, please sign --estavisti 11:32, 13 July 2005 (UTC)

I don't see how Serbo-Croat is compromise if Bosnian IS Serbo-Croat (which implies that Serbo-Croat IS Bosnian). Yes, you are fluent in 4 languages. It's not like I'm some language puritan, but if just about everybody says its 4 languages, just go with the flow. Anyway, this even isn't relevant as on [[1]] you have cijelokupna (which is, BTW, wrong, it should be cjelokupna) [[2]] you have sledeci, so it obviously is some kind of mixture of languages, so my oppinion is that Bosnian is in fact a compromise (not choosing Serbo-Croat nor Croatian-Serbian explicitly). What I'm trying to do here is not to get Serbs nor Croats angry. Maybe we should just email the bosnabeat.com guys and ask them? Just keep things rolling, changed it back.

Loše vino by Arsen Dedić was written for Zdravko Čolić, not for Bijelo Dugme, although Dugme played it sometimes becouse Bregović was author of music. I think mentioning of Loše vino shoult be removed. Dijxtra 18:21, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Reverting of User:203.26.177.2's edits

1) The concert ont he picture was not re-union concert maybe just a farewell concert.

2.1) Bijelo Dugme is not a "Bosnian" as it is not a person but a band. The more apropriate "see also" link would be "List of Bosnian music groups", but see 2.2)

2.2) Putting List of Bosnians link on nevery page that is connected with Bosnians is retundant, Wikipedia has Categories for such a thing, and this article is in "Category:Musical groups from Bosnia and Herzegovina", so there is no need for "See also" link.

3) Goran Bregović is listed on list of members and mentioned multiple times in the text of the article, so mentioning him in a "See also" is also redundant.

4) Sarajevo school of pop rock is a collateral damage and I'll return the link right away :-) Sorry, but I'm a bit outraged because User:203.26.177.2 shows no understanding on how Wikipedia works with his "List of Bosnians" project. Bosnians are fine men and I myself wrote few articles on them (Alija Sirotanović is my personal hero and idol), but putting a "List of ..." link on every page about "..." is just not the way Wikipedia works.

I own two more live albums that is not shown on this site, I got them from my girlfriend in Croatia now in december 2005 but I wonder if they shouldnt be on the list if the are some how unofficial? Thy are called "Mramor kamen i željezo" and "Turneja 2005 - Sarajevo, Zagreb and Beograd". I add theem but thell me if they are unoffical! :)

Bijelo Dugme should always be written with a capital B followed by a capital D. I have noticed that on many articles Dugme is written with a small d, this is incorrect. Other bands with two words in their name e.g. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd spell with capitals. --Leshdog 13:52, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

That's definitely not correct, the examples that you've given are bands with English language names hence their titles follow English language convention of capitalizing every word in a title. Bijelo dugme on the other hand is clearly not an English name and as such follows Serbian/Croatian convention of only capitalizing the first word in a title. So to recap, it's: Bijelo dugme, Riblja corba, Crvena jabuka, Plavi orkestar, and definitely not Bijelo Dugme, Riblja Corba, Crvena Jabuka, Plavi Orkestar.

If their names were translated in English then and only then would they be capitalized: White Button, Fish Stew, Red Apple, Blue Orchestra.Zvonko 04:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
