Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. For a start, don't begin an article by asking a series of questions. Ask your questions at the Village Pump, where an administrator can answer them. Secondly, you can develop an article in a Sandbox, created as part of your userpages. This will prevent your articles from being deleted until they have reached a state fit for publication. I notice that you have not been welcomed to Wikipedia. Please read the welcome salutation below and the pages that link from it. Regards, (aeropagitica) (talk) 05:58, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: your user page
Hi Big Boss Ocelot, I assume that you have changed your name from User:Talemir given the redirect from your page. Please see WP:UP for the Wikipedia policy on user pages. I think your user page is probably much closer to fitting with the policy than it was before, and so I personally have no concerns about it. A1kmm 08:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hey A1kmm, that's wonderfull you have no concerns. And yes there is a redirect, but I didn't do that lol. And I am glad to hear that my user page meets all policy! I've been looking at lots of information, making sure that I don't go against any policy here. I love this site and am always a sponge for information, I am also glad that none of my articles after Unseen Vision are even concidered to be unencyclopedic (for obvious reasons, they meet all types of standards). Thank you again for your help and patience, if you don't mind I'm adding you under my Respected Wikipedians section. =) Have a great day

[edit] General Questions
I'm not sure what you mean by copyright. Everything on wikipedia is "copyleft." In any case, I'd suggest keeping the PS2 and gameboy versions of this LotR game on the same page and adding a section noting the differences b/t them. Cheers. --Kchase02 05:43, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ah! Thank you! That's what I've been looking for, I shall have to look up copyleft. But in other words you mean I may add screen shots and information about the PS2 version on the existing Gameboy page? To save space I would assume is the reason. Big Boss Ocelot 05:46, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also, there is absolutely no article I could find on the video game "Arc The Lad" at all for PS2. Can I make this one? o.0 Big Boss Ocelot 05:51, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- I don't know enough about the games to answer your question. I don't know whether saving server space is a concern for wikipedia. I would say if the versions for each platform are substantially similar, one article would suffice. If they are different, then perhaps two is appropriate. It's a judgement call. You know more about it than I do, so it's up to you. See Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for an example of where a single article will suffice. Of course you can make an article for "Arc the Lad"! That's the beauty of a wiki! Try to start it with a few lines of content so it doesn't get deleted. --Kchase02 05:54, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

- Awesome! Thanks man! I shall do so as soon as I'm done fixing my many mistakes lol! Btw I'm trying to fix my video game links, the link for the LOTR games are internal, but I have to do external because the address is odd. Any ideas? Big Boss Ocelot 06:01, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Nevermind I figured it out lol.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Switchfade.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Switchfade.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 23:33, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Copyright Tag
Hi, as far as I can tell, you've used the incorrect copyright tags on all your own work that you've uploaded, and as such, could result in your images being deleted, if you have a look at WP:ICT and alter the copyright tags on your images to the licence of your choice.
