[edit] RE Revert on Wii Remote section in Wii

That would be here. Just64helpin 21:55, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to the Nunchaku article

It regards to your edit, the "Nunchuk controller" article redirects to Wii Remote#Nunchuk. Please see Talk:Wii Remote for more information. Just64helpin 20:51, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Deliberately adding a redirect link seems highly irregular. The point of redirect pages is to lead the reader to the correct article. On certain browsers, the redirect doesn't even point to the subsection, but to the Wii Remote article as a whole. Just64helpin 17:54, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Dear BigHairRef,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that your edit count is to low. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. [edit] BBC News 24 Good Article pass

Hi, thank you for reviewing the BBC News 24 article and passing it. Your comments will definitely be taken on board to improve the article further. Thanks again! Wikiwoohoo 22:08, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Strategic Air Command Wings

Hi BigHairRef; I'm a editor from New Zealand. R.E. Mixer is blanking sections in this page because it was a massive page and the articles listed are being moved to sub-articles for Air Refuelling Wings, Bomb Wings, Fighter Wings etc etc. That's why the LongPage tag is up the top. So please do not revert removal of the text in this case because it is being preserved in sub-articles. Best regards from Down Under Buckshot06 01:39, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, the Aussies haven't exactly learned respect for you guys either. Fancy taking back the Ashes just like that!! They should have had the decency to lose to Britain for a while...

[edit] Flood (Halo) GA

I added the links to an online repository for the transcripts. Is that sufficient? Dåvid ƒuchs (talk • contribs) 16:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for pointing that out, I linked to the wrong level. They all should be fixed. Dåvid ƒuchs (talk • contribs) 17:23, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] William Goebel

I have asked the uploader to be more specific in his fair use rationale for the image of William Goebel, which he has done. I hope this will allow the article to pass its GA review. Thank you for taking time to review this article. Acdixon 14:40, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

I noticed that the article on William Goebel is still on hold. I have been expanding it recently. Have these expansions caused further concerns that need to be addressed before the article passes a Good Article review? Acdixon 14:58, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Delay was no problem; thanks for promoting the article. It's my first successful Good Article! Acdixon 17:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Platform game

Added a bunch of cites where you felt they were needed, and addressed the claims of original research, cleaned up the article a bit, and took new screenshots and uploaded them with a fair use rationale for each (a few of the old shots were mine, so I just added FU for them). I think it should be all good now, but I'm awaiting your thoughts.Frogacuda 06:55, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I removed the "many felt" claim, because it was a little weasely, and replaced it with a more verifiable counter-claim. I explained a bit about the proto-platformer thing on the talk page. I'm not really sure it needs to be cited or changed. Frogacuda 23:33, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for all the help on getting the platform game article up to snuff. I removed the references to proto-platformers, as there were only two mentioned in the article, so writing around it was easy. Platform game is now the only game genre article with a GA. Lot of work. I think there's about 2 paragraphs left of the original article now. Now to work on the other genres... Frogacuda 01:33, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:12.160.33.128

Yes, it was me who blocked the user (see his last four edits). I believe an immediate block was in order and there was no point in warning him. (And thanks, I didn't realize that I forgot the signature. Fixed it now.) - Mike Rosoft 17:52, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wayne Rooney

Hey there, thanks for the review and the heads up. Unfortunately it's too big a fix-up for my limited time at the minute. Hopefully the regular contributors can take the article further. Regards SeanMack 02:44, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
