[edit] New userboxes
Per the terms of the German userbox solution new userboxes should not be created in template space. Please read up on the current practices. That page has instructions on how to properly create userfied userboxes. --Cyde Weys 20:38, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Your change to the page Flavio Roma was determined to be unhelpful, and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. Thanks. Matt86hk talk 11:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Marco Di Vaio
Please do not deliberately introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Marco Di Vaio. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.. - And the capitalisation and italicisation of the players' names atop the infobox doesn't look good at all. Not sure who told you it did, but I'd suggest not doing it any more than you already have. ~ Dudesleeper 19:54, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

- It is not me who does it, it is my brother. I have told him not to do it that way on my username anymore. BigDom 11:26, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Angers SCO Squad
Hi, I've changed the style of your Angers template. If you prefer the old version, feel free to change it back, since there isn't an approved style for numberless squads. Laters. sʟυмɢυм • т • c 01:12, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template:AS Beauvais Squad
Are the players professional? If they're not, they wouldn't merit an article, and this template would be rendered useless. At the moment, it is already useless without any player articles. sʟυмɢυм • т • c 22:24, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chalon
The club in CFA-2, groupe C, named "Chalon" is "FC Chalon" from Chalon-sur-Saône (Haute-Saône), not "CO Châlons" from Châlons-en-Champagne (Aube).
The club "CO Châlons" is defunct, and replaced by "Olympique Châlons" whose senior team plays in Division d'honneur régionale (groupe B), in the Champagne-Ardennes League (tier 7)

Hi BigDom!
I've removed the autoblock that was restricting your ability to edit. I'm sorry for the trouble this caused you.
If this happens again, please put the unblock request on this page (your talk page) as this makes replying easier and also shaves several minutes off the process of unblocking you!

[edit] Geoffrey Dauphy
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Geoffrey Dauphy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Geoffrey Dauphy. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fram 11:01, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
I am currently going through your contributions, as inbetween the many good articles about notable subjects, there seem to be a number of articles on non notable subjects as well. I have prodded the above, I have nominated a bunch of others for AfD, and I also nominated one template for deletion. It may be best if you go through your watchlist and check out which ones I'll be nominating (I don't know yet if any more will follow). I don't think we should have articles about amateur footballers who have no other claim to notability (former pro's and so on are of course still notable, no matter where they play now). [edit] French football
Hi BigDom, thanks for all you additions about French football - it is an area I've done a fair bit of editing too, creating articles for the more important clubs or players in France and hoping someone else would create pages for the players/clubs in the next tier of importance in the French leagues. Thanks a lot for doing my "work" for me! It makes me chuffed to see someone else doing what I do, and I can now go off on an extended holiday knowing "my" Wikipedia articles are going to be in safe hands. Hey man, you should feel priviliged, coz you're the last person I'm ever going to leave a message to on Wikipedia. --Dangherous 00:29, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Brazil national football team players' caps and goals
Hi BigDom, I notice you have corrected several brazillian players international caps and goals. From your edit I think that you use the website sambafoot.com as a source (please correct me if I'm wrong), however, I found several mistakes that sambafoot.com has on their statistics. I have point out their mistakes and how to get the correct caps in the Brazil national football team talk page. -- Martin tamb 06:42, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MicahHyde.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MicahHyde.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] AfD Nomination: Noureddine Maamria
An editor has nominated the article Noureddine Maamria for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Noureddine Maamria. Add four tildes like this ~~~~ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Noureddine Maamria during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wilmington Hammerheads.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Wilmington Hammerheads.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] F.C.
If you can, remember to put "F.C." after a football club's name to avoid article re-directs. You did it for some of the clubs in the infobox of Colin Hendry's article but not all. Danke. - Dudesleeper · Talk 14:34, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rikki Bains
A tag has been placed on Rikki Bains, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Springnuts 19:44, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
